Busy in the dentist's chair...

Michael made a visit to the dentist last week. He was pretty busy in the waiting room and when he got in to see the doctor, he COULDN'T BELIEVE how many things there were to check out and see how they all worked! Somehow the doctor and nurses were able to see in his mouth! (I left the room and waited in the waiting room. I could hear them "working" with him. :-) Bad news is, he's got 5 cavities. The doctor seems really nice and will make it as positive as he can for our little first-timer.
A little education first!!

You are funny, Ashley!!!

We were all busy making our beds when Ashley called for me to 'look'....and this is what I saw. She was working on tucking her back sheet in against the wall. What made us laugh too is the song that was playing on the CD was "LEANING on the Promises". We sang it together only changing a few words like,"leaning on the wall"... :-)

The expression on Michael's face tells it all! (I never told him to "smile".) Click on the picture and make it big. Precious.

Last week Ryan told Michael he could come out and work with him. (He's working on building Tara and Brock's house.) It was COLD but Michael got bundled up and I dropped him off at the site about 10:30. He was SO excited to hang out with Ryan and hopefully ride the bobcat! Ryan put him to work picking up nails and extra boards. They had lunch at McDonalds before Ryan brought him home. The bonuses of the day were: Michael got that bobcat ride, I got a little more done that day :-) and Ryan got to enjoy a sweet little boy.
(After quickly taking these pictures, (it was cold!) Michael asked if I could please leave now.....I was happy for him getting to hang out and do guy things. Thanks Ryan.)

Making birthday cards for Mom.

Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you.

Ashley spent some time practicing her dance moves....

...while waiting for school to start. What a pretty ballerina she makes. (Michael is sitting on the blue chair watching the video too and I would watch him look at her out of the cornor of his eye to see if she was copying the moves right. Too cute.)

Some time was spent at the Noble store....

The kids enjoyed dusting the boxes....
and getting a ride or two....
Ashley brought her "puppy" to the store and Kailey fell in love with it.

Back at the gym again, learning the game of BB.

The high school BB girls held a morning BB camp for the grade school kids at the high school gym. Here's Ashley before the camp started. She said she had a good time. She got a new T-shirt and if she wears it to the girls' BB game tonight she gets in free. She and Uncle Louie are planning on going.

Took these pictures just because Michael was so good about picking up his toys.

Good job Michael!

What is it about the kitchen table? That's were some fun begins!

Having fun doing crafts they got for Christmas while at Rosa's house.
Krista made aprons for them that they loved wearing while making cookies.

Ryan came home just in time!

We (Tara and I) were trying to get Ashley's new earrings in that she got from Santa. The problem was, the holes in her ears needed to be re-opened a little. Pushing hard enough wasn't "in my stomach" and when Ryan walked in on us, he said he could do it. Thanks Ryan. And look how brave Ashley is!!!!!!!!!

(Tara held the flashlight for Dr. Ryan.)
Went into the bedrooom to look in the mirror to see how pretty her new earrings looked!
See!!

more snow fun

Wish I had video of this.....they found so many ways to get on the sled together and slid down our hill! Made me laugh out loud!
(One boot on and one boot off!)
