Good times.

Ashley wanted us to take a picture of her and Tara so we took one!! This was the day Ashley made lunch for Tara, Michael and herself before they went for a walk together down to a church to play. (Sunday May 25th)

3 little monkeys jumping on a bed & no one got hurt!!

I thought we were working our way "into" bedtime but things got carried away! Michael got a little defensive about it being his room. Cousins.!

Good Idea Ashley!

Tara ran downstairs to get a pop and saw Ashley kickin' back watching a movie in comfort. She's sitting in a tote that's just her size and she added a pillow. I've noticed she's always had some good ideas; she's worth listening to!! May 24, 2008!

The last day of school and it was cold outside!! 5-23-08

It didn't rain outside, but the temperature and the winds made up for it. It was a miserable day for the "Fun Day" at school. I think Ashley had a fun day tho! The students participated in different events out on the playground (which helped in keeping warm!) Here Ashley is throwing the ball as far as she could. I think she got a 'silver' star for her throw.
While waiting for the next event, Michael get in some time with Sissy and Abby!

Trying to warm up!!
Ashley walking out the door of her Kindergarten room. Best friends saying good-by; their teacher, Mrs. Even, behind them.

Abby will miss you Ashley. When you visit us, we'll give her a call so you can have a play day together!!

Michael's glad Sissy is home now for awhile. He had lots to say to her. And oh, by the way, ASHLEY HAD A GREAT REPORT CARD. Way to go, Ashley! You worked hard for it. So very proud of you!

One event was running the bases as fast as you could. The video isn't very good because this mom standing beside me wouldn't quit talking to me about her kid. I thought about taking a video of her daughter who was a naughty little girl and putting it on 'you tube'. (I wouldn't really do that, but the thought did enter my mind!) It was an opportunity to show Michael how not to act!

He melts my heart...

After getting ready for bed, I walked into our room, flipped on the light, heard a sound and saw Michael sleeping restfully in our bed. He's so darn cute I had to take this picture. Even the sound of his sleep is cute so I took a video too!!

Last soccer game :- ( May 20th 2008

Ashley's getting to be a pretty good defender. In these videos, she's playing goalie. You were so much fun to watch, Ashley. We hope, if you want to, you can keep on playing. We are very proud of you!!

A play day with Abby!!! (5/20/08)

Ashley's really good friend in school is Abby. She got to come over for a play day today. They let Michael "hang out" with them too!

Special flowers and new birthday purse and dress!!

Looking so pretty in one of her birthday dresses with her new purse!!
Ashley had a fun day with her friend, Abby. After school they went to a greenhouse that Abby's grandma owns and decorated flowerpots and planted flowers in them. They got to take them all home. Makes my front deck look a lot nicer!! Thanks Ashley. :-)

Celebration of poems.....

Ashley's class had a presentation of the poems they had created. So Michael and I headed for the school to listen to them and have some milk and cookies. Ashley did a fine job. We were proud of her. On the way home from the school, Michael had figured out a poem of his own, so we made a video of that too!!
